  • How do you clear a blocked drain ?

    Depending on the blockage we use either - drain jetting, drain rodding or spring/cable machines.

  • What causes a blocked outside drain ?

    Drains can block due to a wide variety of reasons. The most common issues we find are excessive use of wet wipes or other items not designed to be flushed down the toilet, fat being poured down sinks which then sticks inside the drains and causes blockages or r

  • Who is responsible for drain blockage ?

    The home owner is usually responsible for the drainage system upto the property boundry. Anything past this boundry then becomes your water authority's drains. Also, if you have laterial drains from neighbouring property's these then can also be classed as a public sewer and down to the water aurthority's.

  • Why is drain jetting better than traditional drain rods?

    Jetting a drain not only clears the blockage but will also remove a lot more of any grime build up on the walls of the drain. When using drain rods you also run the risk of the rods breaking underground or getting stuck which then can cause further issues.


  • How long will it take to unblock my drain?

    All standard drain blockages are usually cleared within the hour. If for any reason this goes over don’t worry we offer a fixed price service so you will not be charge a penny more than we have quoted.

  • Can you remove stuck drain rods?

    Nine times out of ten we are able to remove drain rods by using our drain jetting by using the pressure to push the drain rod to the nearest manhole.


  • When are drain CCTV inspections needed?

    If you experience recurring drainage issues such as  slow flushing toilets/sinks, regular drain blockages etc… then a CCTV inspection should get to the root cause and resolve the problem for good. A CCTV inspection can identify issues that would otherwise remain hidden, so it’s definitely useful to have an inspection carried out if you think something just isn’t right.


  • How long do you take to arrive ?

    We always try our hardest to offer a same day service at a time to suit you. Occasionally, if we have an influx of bookings that day, we will book you in for your chosen time the next day. If you are have a drain emergency we will always do our best to be there as soon as possible.


  • What if my drain is not blocked when you arrive ?

    If we arrive and it turns out your drains are not causing the issue there would be no charge and we would advise to contact the local water authority

  • Why is my drain smelly ?

    Drains can release nasty smells for many different reasons. Most commonly if you can smell your drains it will be blocked causing a build-up of waste water/sewage.

  • Are you insured to work at my property and on my drains ?

    Yes, rest assure we hold full liability insurance for your peace of mind.


  • How can i pay ?
